Effect of ADHD(Attention Deficit Hypersensitivity Disorder)

Today, people are more inclined towards the money, for that, they sometime lose their grip on themselves, or, they seem to be stressful due to the working loads, family problems, financial crisis or other problems. Whenever, you put so much on your back, you, perhaps, lose your balance. For instance, if a man carried much weight on his back, what could happen to him? He lost his balance immediately or he lost it after few steps, result might be either, but it would definitely hurt the man. But a particular type of stimulant, which basically acts on CNS, once used to eliminate excess strain as well as stress to maintain the balance of the brain. Now, people are suffering from this kind of stress related disease which is known as ‘Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder’ or ADHD .particularly CNS stimulants are used to recover from this mental disorder . In one word, if I say CNS stimulant is nothing but a substance which artificially energize the whole body such as elevation of mood, recovery from depression, relief from stress access to easy socialization etc. In present we are dealing so much pressure that one can lose his stamina, strength, eventually become a victim of depression, overall he loses the art of socialization. It is very obvious in our society. From my point of view, I would like to recommend people to release the stress as much as possible; there is no need of any therapy sessions or any medication, this could be the great solution. But, we know us, that we are always chasing something else, so, we need medications to keep us alive, well, frankly speaking, some doctors, licensed pharmacists prescribe some of the stimulants for this purpose. Now, I am going to talk about one particular class of drug which is banned entirely from many countries, but, still, some are using illicitly because it’s so called effective. Name is Adderall , or Adderall XR.

It contains four salts of two enantiomers of amphetamine, a CNS stimulant of phenethylamine class. It works by changing the amounts of certain natural substances in the brain. Amphetamine / dextroamphetamine belong to a class of drugs known as stimulants. It can increase your ability to pay attention, stay focused on an activity, and control behavior problems . It may also become of help to organize one’s tasks and improve listening powers, beside it reduces sleeping hour which is not a good sign for a healthy person. These are the natural behavior of a typical stimulant. Now, let’s come to the dark sides,  this drug has many side effects, to be precise, if it is used in heavy dose  or misused, then, it can bring severe disorders. This medication may rise your blood pressure , if the pressure exceeds then initially plaque is formed which is part of atherosclerosis, eventually it may occur heart failure, stroke, kidney failure, peripheral arterial disease, vision loss and blindness. In CNS it causes compulsive and repetitive movement, such as, body rocking, or complex, serotonin syndrome which is due to excessive serotonergic nerve activity, sympathomimetic toxidrome which is due to excessive adrenergic nerve activity. There comes the major part of misuse, like, addiction this is known as Acute Amphetamine Psychosis, where, hallucinations, paranoia, and delusions which are ideal stages for those who appear to think of much pressure, just to release them, they take this medicine which is absolutely inappropriate and intolerable and shameless so if you guys find anything at anywhere please tell them to stop taking this particular medicine. As a pharmacist, it’s our duty not to encourage them by providing such drugs illicitly. Officially Adderall XR is banned in 2005 in Canada and then is banned from several sports like NFL, NBA, major soccer leagues and Cricket.
